DESCRIPTION:
Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, Mass., "Yacht Wheel", 8 days, brass spring lever movement ship's clock. Serial No. 158448. These clocks were offered in Time Only or Ship's Bell when production began in 1906. The clock was Yacht Wheel with the base was named the Mariner. Without the base it was name the "Pilot".
CONDITION:
Highly polished cast brass case in excellent condition. The special 5.5" dial with raised numbers has been professionally reconditioned. Original hands Mahogany base in original finish has some tiny dings on the front edge and small piece missing on the back edge. Overall a very impressive clock.
